Di-potassium phosphate (DKP)

Di-potassium phosphate is the chemical name. Other synonyms are: potassium phosphate dibasic, di-potassium hydrogen phosphate. Potassium salt of phosphoric acid. NASi has Kosher Certification of DKP.

Di-Potassium Phosphate (DKP) is used as a corrosion inhibitor and pH buffering or adjusting agent in the manufacturing of glycol based anti-freeze and cooling agents, as well as in the drying process in the fermentation of animal feed. DKP can also be used as an emulsifier and buffer in coffee creamers.
